Piano Group Class
Same Incredible Curriculum Taught in Private, but with a friend! 

Small Group Piano Sessions (2-3 students)

Study music theory, technique, and performance under head teacher, Ms. Leslie, and alongside a friend. These unique piano group sessions are highly recommended for the beginner! They are just as efficient as private lessons with the same rich, awesome material but with a more affordable cost. Ms. Leslie's high-energy, fun-filled lessons are crafted to encourage her student teams to explore the awesome world of music together. Not only will you learn priceless music skills, but you'll also make life-long music-loving friends.

Piano Group Classes meet 30 minutes, weekly, and participate in all recital opportunities.

Private Music Lessons
Piano, Violin, Cello, Guitar, Bass, Voice, Drums, Trombone

We aim to provide the very best for each of our students, dedicating much preparation and thought into each tailored lesson. Private lessons are 30 minutes weekly. We offer private lessons for piano, violin, cello, guitar, bass, voice, trumpet, and drums. Our well-rounded curriculum emphasizes music theory and technique as well as performance. We also host several fun recitals throughout the year to provide students performance goals and experience.  Our themed recitals are a blast! Some of our favorites include "Movie Night" (all cinematic music), "Neighborhood Nutcracker" (a unique showcase of Tchaikovsky's 'Nutcracker Ballet' score performed by various instruments and ensembles by our honor students), and "Cookies and Composers" (experiencing our great composers with sweet treats!).

"Leslie's School of Music" is an active member of the Texas Music Teachers Association as well as the Waxahachie Music Teachers Association, so students are able to participate in an awesome array of local recitals, competitions, and festivals! There is a surplus of opportunities for our musicians.

Early Childhood Music Education, Ages 1-5

We strive to support our local families and strengthen community and family bonds by providing the best in early childhood music education for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers. Music has the special power to bring us together and support our children's growing bodies and brains in surprising ways. And so, I present to you: Baby Beethovens!!

“Baby Beethovens” is a highly recommended class for toddlers. Our littles will interact with peers and engage in movement, rhythm, and vocal activities that develop far more than just music skills. Steeped in educational theory, “Baby Beethovens” uses engaging, sensory-rich experiences to nurture cognitive, social-emotional, and physical development.  Each class offers fun-filled energy, singing, dancing, instrument play, and helps teach how to use music to create and simplify routines at home.  Grab your little ones and come join us!

Violin Class

Learn the violin in an encouraging classroom setting.

The very experienced and talented Ms. Leslie pours her heart into these awesome classes! She has played and loved the violin for almost 30 years, and her joy in sharing this passion is evident.  Violin class students have the opportunity to perform in recitals and events, and they cover the same material as private lessons but in a more team-focused, engaging, and affordable environment.  It is also very valuable to learn how to play with others! Join the fun!!
